Hello! I am Aidan Katson, a third-year PhD student at University of California, Santa Cruz. I am primarily interested in theoretical syntax, semantics, and their interfaces, with particular regard to time, clause-embedding nouns, non-finite clauses, and nominalizations.
My primary advisor is Maziar Toosarvandani.
I speak English and Spanish, am a heritage speaker of Japanese (basic to intermediate proficiency), and have basic knowledge of French and Mandarin. I also have an interest in conducting fieldwork on Taishanese in the near future.
